The water quality of Galing River in Kuantan was assessed using standard methods. Five sampling stations were chosen, and 11 parameters were measured, including pH, oxygen levels, and pollutants. The river was found to be suitable only for irrigation due to high pollution levels, especially in the commercial area. High levels of contaminants like iron and cadmium were detected, posing risks to human health and the environment. Urgent action is needed to control water pollution in the Galing River.
