Soil moisture is important for water and energy exchange between land and atmosphere, but it's hard to measure accurately due to soil variability. A new method was developed to estimate soil properties using soil moisture data, improving predictions. The method was tested with different soil types and field measurements, showing promise for accurately estimating soil properties in real-world conditions.
