Environmental sustainability is universal and non-negotiable, transcending social and economic boundaries, study reveals.
This paper clarifies what environmental sustainability is and how it differs from social and economic sustainability. Social scientists should define social sustainability separately, and economists should do the same for economic sustainability. Keeping these types separate helps understand their unique goals. It's shown that environmental sustainability applies universally, not just to specific ecosystems or nations. Even though different regions may need different approaches, environmental sustainability is crucial for all and cannot be compromised.
