Honeybees prefer sucrose over fructose and glucose, with sucrose resulting in more dances. Bees collected larger loads of glucose at concentrations of 40% and 50%. Equal mixtures of sucrose, glucose, and fructose were collected in similar volumes to other sugar mixtures.
