Chickpea farmers can boost yields by 25% with right fertilizer and spacing
The study tested different amounts of fertilizer and spacing between chickpea plants to see how it affected growth and yield. The results showed that using 25 kg of nitrogen and planting the chickpeas 30 cm apart led to the highest production. On the other hand, not using any fertilizer and planting them 50 cm apart resulted in the lowest yield and income.
