The INTECoM framework was created to improve the process of designing data models for databases. It focuses on different activities involved in data modeling and aims to make it easier for all users to understand and use the models. The framework combines two popular data modeling techniques, NIAM-CSDP and Entity-Relationship, to cater to different ways of building databases. This approach allows for better communication and understanding of the data structure, which is crucial for the success of database development projects.
