A study was done in Chhattisgarh to see how growing pigeonpea and urdbean together in different ways affects their productivity and profits. They found that growing pigeonpea alone gave the most seeds, money, and benefits. But planting pigeonpea in rows with full fertilizer and urdbean with less fertilizer also did well, with almost as many seeds and good profits. This method was also efficient and gave good returns.
