New Weed Control Method Boosts Rice Crop Yields and Reduces Damage.
Researchers conducted a field experiment to test different weed control methods in rice nurseries. They found that applying butachlor and thiobencarb before and after sowing harmed the crop seedlings. However, using pendimethalin after sowing and butachlor before sowing effectively killed over 70% of weeds with less damage to the rice plants.
