High-potential U.S. ventures going global see sales and earnings soar!
The study looked at 61 new high-potential U.S. ventures to see why some of them expanded internationally and what happened as a result. They found that ventures that focused on unique products, had board members with international experience, and were larger when they went public were more likely to go global. Ventures that used low cost, product differences, or innovation to stand out, and were larger when they went public, had higher sales growth after two years. Also, ventures that were more international when they went public made more money two years later.
