A study was done to test different herbicides on pigeonpea plants to see which one worked best for controlling weeds. They tried two types of herbicides at different amounts, along with weedy and hand weeding. The herbicide called pendimethalin at 1.5kg/ha gave the highest grain yield and reduced weed density by more than 70%.
