Researchers studied the plants and soil along roads in Abbottabad. They used special techniques to analyze the plant data and found 63 different plant species and 5 main plant communities. The study showed that lead and copper, and to some extent zinc, were the most important factors affecting the roadside plants. This information can help protect and enhance the plants along the roads to keep the native plants healthy.
