Albania is working towards meeting European Union standards by following a growth strategy similar to the EU's "Europe 2020 Growth Strategy". The country is focusing on economic reforms in five key areas: integrated growth, smart growth, sustainable growth, inclusive growth, and governance for growth. Albania is currently below the average of other South East European countries in achieving these growth pillars, but shows some strengths in certain areas. Despite the limited time left to meet the 2020 targets, Albania has the potential to fulfill the necessary tasks. The study provides specific recommendations and conclusions based on the country's economic conditions and recent government reforms.
