The article discusses how different types of coasts in Crimea were mapped and classified. They found that erosion coasts are the most common, followed by erosion-accretion and lagoon coasts. Each part of Crimea has its own specific types of coasts based on its geological and geographical features. The western coast has mostly accretion shores, the south coast has erosion-landslide shores, the east coast has typical erosion shores, and the Sivash coast has a mix of accretion-erosion shores and mud flats.
