Thailand's Fresh Produce Supply Chain Revolutionized by Risk Management Strategies
Supply chain risk management is crucial in dealing with the complexities and uncertainties of global trade. A study in Thailand focused on fresh produce supply chains identified and evaluated 9 categories of risks, including climate, demand, financial, information, operational, policy, price, regulatory, and supply risks. Stakeholders like growers, collectors, wholesalers, processors, retailers, and consumers were interviewed to understand these risks. The study introduced risk management guidelines to help mitigate these risks and improve the structure of the fresh produce supply chain in Thailand.
