Drip irrigation and smart fertilizer boost pepper yields, improving food security for farmers.
The study looked at how drip irrigation and fertilizer management affect Capsicum plants. They found that using drip irrigation with 75% of the recommended nitrogen and potassium led to higher nitrogen content in plants and fruits. This treatment also resulted in the highest uptake of phosphorus and potassium by the plants and fruits. Overall, the plants treated with drip irrigation and fertilizer management had significantly higher fruit yield compared to other treatments.
