Foreign aid does not help Nigeria's agricultural sector grow. Instead, saving money and using better technology are more effective for increasing agricultural output in both the short and long term. The study used data from 1981 to 2009 to show that foreign aid has a negative impact on agricultural growth in Nigeria. This means that improving technology is more important than relying on foreign aid for agricultural development in the country.
