A study on sesame plants found that certain hybrid combinations showed significant and positive increases in yield and capsule production compared to their parents. The hybrids TNAU 142 x Col and TMV 6 x Col were particularly successful in producing more dry matter and higher yields. These findings suggest that these hybrid combinations have the potential to be developed into new high-yielding varieties.
