Paper Summary

Buffaloes fed paddy straw along with UMMB supplements showed increased intake and better digestion of nutrients. The supplementation improved nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus balances in the animals. Blood levels of nitrogen compounds also increased but stayed within healthy ranges. Overall, UMMB supplementation enhanced the utilization of paddy straw by the buffaloes.
