New Wheat Variety and Herbicide Combo Boosts Crop Yields and Fights Weeds!
The study tested different wheat varieties and herbicides to see how they affected weed growth and wheat production. The K-9107 wheat variety had fewer weeds and better growth, while PBW-343 had the highest grain and straw yield. Among herbicides, sulfosulfuron was the most effective at reducing weed nutrient uptake and increasing crop yield. Keeping the field weed-free all season led to the highest wheat yield and less nutrient loss to weeds.
