New herbicide combo boosts wheat yield and slashes weed growth.
A study was done to test a weed-killing spray on wheat plants. The spray, made of carfentrazone-ethyl and sulfosulfuron, was applied after the wheat had started growing. The results showed that using this spray at 45 grams per hectare reduced the amount of weeds without harming the wheat. This led to higher wheat yields compared to not using the spray. The more effective the spray was at killing weeds, the better the wheat yield. The study found that using the spray at 45 grams per hectare gave the best results for weed control and wheat yield.
