New herbicide combo boosts soybean yield and slashes weed infestation!
A study tested different herbicides on soybean to control weeds in 2012. Using imazethapyr and quizalofop-ethyl together after soybean emergence was the most effective method. This combination reduced weed density, dry matter, and weed index the most. It also improved soybean growth and yield, with the highest seed and straw yields, gross and net returns, and nutrient uptake. This method had the best benefit-cost ratio of 3.23.
