Maximizing Broadband Revenue: Boosting Profits with Faster Internet Speeds
Broadband service providers aim to make as much money as possible by offering fast internet at prices customers are willing to pay. A new method called "revenue capacity" helps these providers figure out the maximum money they can make by adjusting data speeds for customers. By using a special algorithm, researchers can calculate this maximum revenue for different types of internet channels. They found that upgrading to a better technology called vectored VDSL can significantly increase the amount of money broadband providers can make.
