Herbicides Boost Wheat Yields, Slash Weeds: Agricultural Game Changer!
The study tested different herbicides on wheat crops to see how they affected weed growth and grain yields. They found that using certain herbicides at specific doses led to less weed growth and higher wheat yields compared to hand weeding. The best results were seen with pendimethalin and isoproturon herbicides. One wheat variety was sensitive to a high dose of 2,4-D herbicide, but overall, most varieties were not affected by the herbicides tested.
