Traditional software projects are often costly, time-consuming, and not well-integrated. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are complex and risky to implement. A new development model combines different approaches to help companies adapt traditional projects to ERP characteristics, reducing risks and improving project success. The model focuses on integrating Waterfall, Iterative, and XP models, with a strong emphasis on prototyping and addressing problems early in the ERP life cycle.
