Finer soil particles in Haryana contain higher potassium levels, impacting agriculture.
The study looked at different forms of potassium in soils in western Haryana. They found that soils with more silt and clay had higher potassium levels. The finer particles had more potassium compared to coarse ones. All forms of potassium were related, except for water-soluble potassium, which only related to some other forms.
