The study evaluated water energy sites in the US to see if they could be developed for low power or small hydro projects. They refined the estimated power potential of the sites and identified feasible projects based on certain criteria. The results show the number of feasible sites, their total power potential, and their potential for hydropower. The study also provides maps showing where these projects could be located across the US. The findings are available online for further exploration.
