The researchers studied different ways of planting Bt-cotton with other crops to see which method gave the best yield and profit. They found that transplanting the cotton plants led to higher seed-cotton yield and profit compared to direct sowing. Planting the cotton at 90 cm x 60 cm spacing gave the best results in terms of yield and profit. When grown with cowpea, the cotton plants had the highest productivity and profit. Overall, planting Bt-cotton with cowpea in a certain way gave the best results in terms of yield and profit.
