New method generates lightning-fast purely random binary numbers for simulations!
Scientists have developed a new method to generate high-speed binary random numbers by combining physical noise and M-sequences. By sampling M-sequences with random pulses generated from thyratron noise, they achieved 100kc/s binary random numbers with properties close to pure randomness. This approach overcomes limitations of traditional methods and can be used in Monte-Carlo simulations and other applications requiring fast random number generation.
