Revolutionizing Pharmacy Workforce Development in Indonesia: Addressing Critical Gaps
A study in Indonesia identified gaps in developing pharmacists by assessing workforce needs. They found challenges in competency development and pharmacy workforce intelligence, with no active projects addressing these areas. The study highlighted the need for initiatives in competency development, advanced training, and strategic workforce intelligence. Additionally, there were policy gaps in collaboration and early-career training infrastructure. This process could help improve pharmacy workforce development in other countries too.
