New study reveals optimal grazing practices for maximizing forage production!
The researchers studied how different levels of sunlight and post-grazing residue affect the growth of tanzania grass. They found that tanzania grass grows best when it receives 85% sunlight and has a residue index of 1.8. The length of the grass stems increased significantly with each grazing cycle. It is recommended not to let the grass receive more than 95% sunlight to prevent excessive loss of forage due to aging.
