The article discusses a new method for optimizing the design of satellites in the early stages of development. By using automated optimization processes, engineers can quickly generate feasible satellite configurations that meet basic requirements. This allows for better decision-making and comparison of different design options. The approach was demonstrated using the satellite GammaBus 1 and has potential for improving the efficiency and quality of satellite design.
