This article talks about making it easier to move data between different databases in a multi-database system. They used a method called incremental data migration that breaks down big data moves into smaller steps. By doing this, they found that they were able to speed up other processes happening at the same time in the multi-database system. This study shows that using this approach with MySQL and the SPIDER storage engine can improve how quickly a multi-database system can handle data transfers and other tasks.
