Shade-loving plants thrive in low light, changing gardening game forever!
Plants were studied to see how well they grow in different amounts of light. Heavy shading made plants grow less, especially in weight. Light shading was better for leaf growth. Plants grew faster in more light at first, but later did better in medium light. Less light meant less food-making ability for plants. More light made plants have smaller leaves compared to their weight. Giving plants more nutrients helped them grow better in full light and light shade.
