The article discusses how services have become important in modern economies and how innovation in services differs from manufacturing. The researchers created a framework to measure innovation in services and identified four types of innovation patterns in the service sector: science-based, problem solving, scale-oriented, and market-oriented services. This framework can help analyze how efficient innovation is in Czech business services.
