Personality traits predict university students' self/peer-assessment accuracy in writing.
The study looked at how two personality traits, Agreeableness and Conscientiousness, affect students' ability to accurately rate their own writing and their peers' writing. They found that these traits only explained a small amount of the variation in self-rating error, but when predicting peer-rating error, Agreeableness was a significant factor. In simpler terms, being agreeable can impact how accurately students assess their peers' work.
