Cauliflower plants grow best when they have a good amount of potassium in their soil. When grown with low potassium levels, the plants don't grow well and show signs of potassium deficiency. The older leaves are more affected by low potassium levels than the younger ones. A potassium concentration of 1% in the old leaves is critical to prevent potassium deficiency in cauliflower plants.
