Tuna gather around seamounts, like the Cross Seamount near Hawaii, where a fishery targets young tuna using various fishing methods. Initially thought to be mostly yellowfin tuna, the catch is actually mostly juvenile bigeye tuna. Skipjack tuna are also present.
