The article discusses the need for a 3D cadastre system in Malaysia due to the scarcity of land for development. The researchers propose a 2D/3D Hybrid Cadastre model to manage property ownership in three dimensions. By incorporating the Land Administration Domain Model (LADM), they aim to improve land management and property registration practices. The study focuses on theoretical aspects of land administration, land information systems, and cadastre systems, providing a framework for handling three-dimensional property situations.
