New Herbicide Combo Boosts Wheat Yield and Profitability, Reducing Weed Impact
A study on weed control in wheat crops found that using a combination of sulfosulfuron and metribuzin as post-emergence treatments resulted in the highest grain and straw yields. This treatment also led to the lowest weed population, highest weed control efficiency, and minimal nutrient loss. Overall, the application of sulfosulfuron and metribuzin resulted in higher profits and a better cost-benefit ratio compared to other herbicides tested.
