Urban Runoff Pollutes Waterways, Exceeding Safety Standards
The study looked at pollution in stormwater from an urban area. They collected samples during storms, measured pollutants, and used a computer model to estimate pollution levels. The results showed that the runoff had higher levels of certain pollutants compared to other areas studied. The quality of the runoff exceeded standards for water quality. The study also discussed issues related to assessing pollution in stormwater.
