The study aimed to find ways to increase laccase production from Trametes versicolor. They found that adding copper, adjusting the pH, using a specific inoculum percentage, and maintaining a certain temperature improved enzyme activity by 30%. Heat shock also increased laccase production by twice the amount. By optimizing these conditions and using heat shock, laccase fermentation levels can be enhanced.
