New method revolutionizes image segmentation for clearer, more accurate results!
The researchers developed a new method for improving image segmentation called the broken-line thresholding method. This method is more accurate than the traditional Otsu method, especially for images with detailed edges. By using two-dimensional line thresholds instead of points, the broken-line method is more effective in separating different parts of an image. The results of simulations showed that this new method is more versatile and provides better segmentation results compared to other methods tested in the study.
