The study examined the potassium levels in different soils in Jilin Province. They found that the soils in the region have a good potential for supplying potassium to plants. The total potassium content in the soils was high, with black soil and Thernozem having higher levels of rapidly available potassium. The type and amount of potassium-bearing minerals in the soils determined the potassium levels.
