Improved EKF boosts accuracy in electrostatic target tracking, outperforming traditional methods.
Electrostatic target tracking can be tricky due to its complexity and uncertainty. By using a new method called the improved Extended Kalman Filter, researchers were able to enhance accuracy and reduce computational complexity. This method outperformed the traditional Extended Kalman Filter and was almost as good as the Unscented Kalman Filter in terms of tracking accuracy. The improved filter took a bit longer to calculate than the regular one, but it was faster than the Unscented Kalman Filter.
