The study analyzed changes in land use and cover in the Dongjiang River Basin over 15 years using satellite images and geographic data. It found that woodland decreased, construction land increased, and cropland expanded. Water and unused land areas saw little change. Land types shifted mainly between woodland, cropland, and construction land. Different regions showed varying land use changes. Overall, landscape diversity increased, and human activities had a significant impact on land patterns in the area.
