The Yanchuannan area in the Ordos Basin has promising coalbed methane potential due to its thick coal beds, good quality, and stable geological conditions. Compared to other areas, Yanchuannan stands out as a favorable target for medium to high-rank coalbed methane exploration. The research shows that Yanchuannan has the right conditions for coalbed methane accumulation, making it a promising area for future development.
