The article discusses how demand response technology in smart grids is expected to grow in the future. By using game theory, researchers analyzed the equilibrium of demand response between power plants, grids, and consumers. They found that an open and interactive smart grid will benefit the development of demand response technology. The study also explored the game equilibrium of demand response under complete information, deregulated restrictions, and provided market rules for the game of demand response.
