New Method Boosts Absorption of Brucea Javanica Oil for Healthier Living
A new method using high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry was developed to detect oleic acid and linoleic acid in Brucea Javanica oil. The researchers separated the acids and found that they could be detected in a range of concentrations. When a self-microemulsifying drug delivery system was used, the absorption of the acids was significantly enhanced compared to using the oil alone. This method could be very useful for quality control in experiments studying the absorption of these acids.
