Genetically Modified Rice Poised to Revolutionize Global Food Security
Three different methods for transforming rice genes were compared: PEG Mediated, Biolistic Gun, and Agrobacterium Mediated. After looking at factors like how often the transformation worked, how long it took, how much it cost, and how hard it was, the Agrobacterium Mediated system was chosen as the best option. It was found to be more cost-effective, efficient, and simple compared to the other methods.
