Conservation tillage is a farming method that helps protect soil by reducing erosion and keeping crop residues. A study compared conservation tillage to traditional methods and found that it can effectively decrease soil erosion. It is recommended for areas with moderate rainfall and temperatures above 7℃. Different cropping patterns were suggested for maize and soybean farming in these regions.
